| We
have many programs available for all ages and all abilities.
|
| 1.
Supertots (Little Dragons) ---for ages 3-6 years old. |
| This
class teaches basic exercises and stretching along with basic
hand, foot, and blocking techniques. This class is a lot of
fun for the younger students while teaching them discipline
and respect. |
| 2.
Kids class ---for ages 12 and under. |
| 3.
Adult class --- for ages 13 and above. |
| 4.
Family class (Open Class) --- for all ages and all ranks. This is a great
class for family members to take together. |
| 5.
Beginner class --- for white and yellow belts. |
| 6.
Advanced class --- for green belt and above. |
| 7.
Weapons classes |
| 8.
Therapeutic class --- teaching people with disabilities martial
arts. An excellent class for improving balance, coordination,
flexibility, and self-confidence. |
| 9.
Taekwondo Team --- Our taekwondo team is for students who strive
for extra training. Great for people who like to compete in
tournaments. |
| 10.
Instructor class --- we have regular training sessions for our
instructors to improve their skills and also work on teaching. |
| 11.
Sparring class --- we have regular sparring workouts that
help with using techniques and improve timing.

| We
also have many other activities that we do throughout the year. |
1.
Taekwondo camp---a camp where students train, sleep in cabins,
and enjoy other outside activities
2. Academic achievers---students who receive good grades are
rewarded through our academic achievers program
3. Tournaments---we compete in tournaments on a regular basis.
Tournaments are not mandatory.
4. Annual Canoe trip
5. Spring picnic
6. Awards ceremony---awards for students who reach superior
levels.
7. Fall cookout
8. Christmas party
9. Parents night out---a chance for the parents to enjoy themselves
while their kids stay in a safe environment.
10. Demonstrations---a chance for students to show their techniques
that they have learned. |

| Competition |
We
have an excellent competition program that excels in preparing
students for tournaments. Students can compete in local, state,
and national competitions. Our program has produced numerous
state and national champions.
We also host our own tournament in Decatur, Illinois. It will be held November 17th & 18th this year. Last year we had approximately 350 competitors from 8 states. For more information on our tournament call 217-875-5031. |

| School
rules: |
1.
Bow to the instructor when entering or leaving the dojang.
2. Bow when entering or leaving the dojang.
3. Respect all higher ranks especially the instructor.
4. Have a clean uniform at all times, folded neatly before
leaving.
5. Maintain discipline; know the tenets of the art and the
student creed.
6. Telephone if you will be late or unable to attend.
7. No food or alcohol allowed in the dojang. Refrain from
drug abuse and no chewing gum.
8. No profanity, no loud talking, and no horseplay.
9. Do not face the instructor while tying belt.
10. Do not teach without instructor's permission.
11. Report all injuries to the instructor.
12. Do not try any techniques until the instructor has shown
them to you.
13. Anyone not following these rules will be reduced in rank. |

| Home
rules |
1.
Children shall greet their parents when they enter the house
and tell them good-bye when they leave.
2. Children will at all times be respectful to their parents
and grandparents.
3. Children will strive for a good relationship with their brothers
and sisters.
4. Children will willingly help with household chores.
5. Children shall report to their parents that they have completed
assigned tasks.
6. Children shall be responsible for the upkeep and neatness
of their own room.
7. Children will practice daily cleanliness in the matter of
hair, nails, teeth, and body.
8. Children shall abide by their parents' decisions.
9. Children shall not interrupt adult conversations.
10. Children shall refrain from rowdy behavior at home.
11. Children shall possess an active mind, body, and spirit.
12. Children will diligently study their schoolwork both at
school and at home.
13. Children will at all times show respect for their school
teachers and other peers. |
